Trinity United Presbyterian Church came to be as the result of a unique merger of three Presbyterian congregations: First United Presbyterian Church, Forest Avenue United Presbyterian Church, and Highland Community United Presbyterian Church. The January 25, 1981 merger brought some 500 people of the Presbyterian faith together in one congregation dedicated to the glory of God.

Trinity United Presbyterian is an impressive church in terms of its physical structure, the faith of the congregation, and the strength of its mission program.
